Health Guarantee
We offer a one-year guarantee against genetic defects in your new puppy. If the puppy is to have any claim of a genetic defect with written proof by two licensed veterinarians (independent of each other). In the event your puppy develops an inheritable/genetic disease before his/her first birthday that is life threatening or causes serious impairment of vital functions, the buyer is entitled to a replacement puppy of similar value or quality, when one becomes available. Arrangements must first be made to place diseased/impaired puppy back with breeder. Additionally, under no circumstances shall breeder be liable for veterinary expenses.
Not all puppies are available with full rights, please check with me if that is of concern to you. Full rights on selected puppies may be purchased at a later date under certain criteria. Breeding rights must be purchased to breed dog at all (non-registered or registered), even if you intend to crossbreed. If you are caught breeding or showing a dog without rights, you will be forfeiting the dog back to the breeder (J4 Corgis and Auggies) and a $____ fine.
Spay & Neuter Agreement:
If the buyer is buying the puppy as a pet, the buyer shall agree that puppy is spayed or neutered, not sooner than 6 months of age and not later than 12 months of age, unless deemed medically necessary by a licensed veterinarian. At any time breeder reserves the right to ask for proof.
Any deposits or payments will go toward the purchase price of the puppy and are non-refundable. It is also understood that the purchaser must have the puppy paid in full before it leaves the premises of the breeder. If puppy is picked up from the breeder, it is understood that the remaining balance must be paid for in cash. Puppy will be put on a bi-weekly deworming schedule and have 2 series of vaccinations before it leaves the premises of the breeder. After the puppy leaves the seller’s care it is the responsibility of the buyer to take remaining care of the puppy’s vaccinations and vet care. Buyer must follow the regular vaccine, deworming, and heartworm schedule for the first year of the puppy/dog's life. Microchip must also be registered with J4 Aussies & Corgis as the organization within 60 days from pick-up, proof of registration must be provided if requested. Failure to do so causes the 1 year health guarantee to become null and void.
Breeder is not responsible for any sickness the puppy has after it leaves our premises. The buyer understands that the puppy will leave the breeders care healthy, but the stress a puppy may endure being shipped and/or adapting to his/her new atmosphere may cause puppy’s immune system to become depressed and allow for any parasites to thrive. Any and all vet bills resulting from a request of the purchaser while the puppy is in the care of the breeder, Is also the responsibility of the purchaser and must be paid for in advance. There is no guarantee against worms, coccidiosis, giardia, infection, un-descended testicles, over or under bites and hernias these are all treatable and not life threatening. Also, there is no guarantee on size, color, breeding, or show quality. All breeding males will be checked by our vet for descended testicles if testicles do not descend buyer has option to exchange pup of similar quality or refund on deposit. If the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident, the breeder agrees to apply said deposit to another available puppy from this litter or another available litter. All registrations, both AKC & CKC will start with J4’s the remaining name is at up to the new owner/ buyer.
ADOPTION AGREEMENT:
If for any reason you cannot care for the animal yourself or plan to sell for any reason you guarantee the seller J4 Corgis and Auggies the first right of refusal. This means if the buyer plans to sell, giveaway or otherwise dispose of the dog or for any reason buyer is unable to care for the dog (including death of the buyer, moving, illness or any other reason that would cause buyer unable to care for the dog themselves) The dog must be returned to J4 Aussies and Corgis by the buyer, next of kin, or anyone having authority over the estate of the buyer. This dog is NEVER to be placed in an animal shelter. J4 Corgis and Auggies will accept the return of any animal sold in order to facilitate re-homing the animal. All dogs are microchipped and will always go back to J4 Corgis and Auggies as a secondary contact. Buyer agrees to pay any and all expenses Seller may incur in recovery of any dog discovered to be in a shelter/rescue including but not limited to vet care, rehabilitation and any expense up to $__________ occurred up until said animal is placed in a new home. While NO refund is implied monies collected in a re-homing situation will be returned (minus deposit and expenses occurred during re-homing process) to buyer by same means they used to purchase this puppy.
